In July of 2020, FVP recapitalized a land site – a previous 65 year old wearhouse property – consisting of ~5 acres of land located in the northwestern section of the City of Hialeah. The site was in a warehouse district that was undergoing a repositioning to include residential units to the undersupplied Hialeah market. The new District titled – the Amelia District – is well situated and provides quick and convenient access to the Gratigny Expressway, Palmetto Expressway and I- 75. The property is on a major section line, NW 57Ave-Red Road, and within a block from Amelia Earhart Park (the largest park in Northwestern Dade County). The partnership received approvals for high density multi- family and was added to the NBD district. The Partnership completed a land use change and upzoned the property to high density residential achieving 44 units per acre. The 212 multifamily residential units consisting of 100% 2- story garden style, surface parked, walk-up apartments.
