In 2012, FVP partnered with NKP Capital, Ricardo Campo and Leon Mayor & Co. to build a multi state school portfolio company. FVP was a founding partner and Anchor Investor in Endeavor Schools (“Endeavor”). Endeavor is a business specializing in the ownership and management of private schools in the U.S. The business plan involved a buy and build (operating company “opco” + property company “propco”) strategy that focused on aggregating a portfolio of properties across several U.S markets. The investment opportunity was predicated upon the highly fragmented U.S private school market with high concentration of mom & pop owners among only a handfull of large institutional owners. Endeavor was successfull in building a portfolio of 34 private schools fastly becoming the 13th largest private school owners in the U.S. In 2018, the group sold the majority of its interest in Endeavor to LEEDs equity for $120,000,000 and retained a small investment in the new entity. In 2022, LEEDs equity sold Endeavor Schools for over $515,000,000 U.S.
