Endeavor is a business specializing in the ownership and management of private schools in the U.S. The business plan involved a buy and build (operating company “opco” + property company “propco”) strategy that focused on aggregating a portfolio of properties across several U.S markets. The investment opportunity was predicated upon the highly fragmented U.S private school market with high concentration of mom & pop owners among only a handfull of large institutional owners. Endeavor was successfull in building a portfolio of 34 private schools fastly becoming the 13th largest private school owners in the U.S.
In 2018, the group sold the majority of its interest in Endeavor to a top-tier equity fund and retained a small investment in the new entity.
